It hasn't been the best of weeks for us as on Friday morning we lost one of our Korat cats, Willow. She was fifteen and old age just got the better of her. Today's Silent Sunday post is dedicated to her - small, noisy but a big part of our lives. Here are some of the many photos we took of her over the last fifteen years. Sleep tight my precious one.

So sorry for your loss Jacqueline, know what it is like to lose a beloved pet they are family.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with you, Jane
Thank you Jane. They may be small, but they are a big part of family life that is true. She is at peace now though, as old age isn't kind, even to cats!

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear of your loss. It is awful when you lose an important member of the family. Take care...
ReplyDeleteThank you xx
DeleteShe's a very regal cat. I'm sorry she won't be there to keep your lap warm any more.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paulita xxx
DeleteI was so sorry to read about Willow.

DeleteI do feel for you, our friends don't live for nearly long enough but we get so much from them. She was beautiful, we have one that colour too but he's strictly a chat de vignes.
ReplyDeleteThank you Victoria, they do enhance our lives don't they!
DeleteJust seen this - what a beautiful cat. The photo of her with Ed as a baby is so moving. I'll raise a glass to her tonight. x
ReplyDeleteThanks Julia, it has been a much quieter house without her this week!
