Being a village councillor has a few benefits, like being allowed to take part in the Christmas meal offered by the municipality to all residents over seventy, despite only being 44.

We dined like kings and queens on foie gras, fish terrine, roasted baby chicken, cheese and a three chocolate dessert. As you would expect wine flowed before, during and after the meal. Here are just a few photos to whet your appetite.
